Mixed Media Canvases

I've now uploading my mixed media canvases to the shop, they have their own Canvas and things shop! I did start uploading them yesterday but ran out of time to sort out the buttons but it's all done now! There is a lot more like this one!

I will also but uploading more hand crafted things in the next couple of days so keep your eyes peeled!

There's has been a increase in postage my afraid thanks to the royal mail! Prices now start from £2.50

I love to take commissions for canvases so if there is something you have in mind but don't see it in the shop then please email me makeandcreate@hotmail.com. Also if you have any creations you have made with my embellishment kit please email them to me or leave a link, I would love to see them!

Market night

Market night is now happening over on Facebook so you might want to go and take a look!

There's lots of new items including art canvases (that I love making), Crocheted garland, a shopping bag, and jewellery!

New Item Sneaks

Oh dear I've been a bad blogger!!

If you are a Facebook fan you may have already seen I have been posting some sneaky peaks of new items that will be added to the shop soon! I thought I would show you some of them here too, if you haven't seen them yet!

There will be lots of new and different items added!

If your not a Facebook fan already you may want to become one, as I will be holding a market night on there this FRIDAY. All the new items will be added to Facebook first on Friday evening, then what is left will then be added to the shop here on Sunday!

Easter Cupcakes

Here's another layout I created using the Spring Zing kit with an Easter theme this time!

 The photo is of the cupcakes I made for Easter! I started by tying a bow in the lovely green ribbon and stuck it down. I clustered lots of the embellishments, like some flowers, a cupcake case, the bird (which I outlined and added form dots the the back to give it some height), a journalling spot, a fabric bow, a crocheted flower and some twisted orange bakers twine. I then added some of the green thread to the paper strip at the end and tied it in a bow and added two paper clip flags on to the top of the photo.

I'm having a problem with what to do with old packets of  Thickers that don't have that many letters left and I can't seem to throw them away(!!) so I made up the title using lots of different ones, I'm quite pleased with how it looks too!

I have also added these colourful embellishments to the shop today!

They are only £2.00!!

There won't be a new kit next month as I will be added new products, if you are a Facebook fan you may have and will be seeing some sneaks of things to come!!

Signs of Spring

I created this layout using the Spring Zing kit. I love these bright, springy colours and they went really well with these photos of spring flowers I took!

I only used some letters and a little bit of patterned paper on this layout the rest in from the kit! I used the large butterfly as a template and used a paint dabber to go around it. I used two of mini cupcake liners, I flattened them then added a punched scalloped circle from patterned paper to stick in the middle of them. I also used from the kit the green lace, yellow rick rack, orange border washi tape, a little word flag, a button, the small journalling spot for the date and the handmade yellow gingham circle embellishment and crocheted flower!

April's kit

April's kit, Spring Zing in now in the shop!

(Sorry it's a bit late!)

 It does what it says, it's a spring kit with a bit of zing!!

 There's this nice large butterfly which you can colour, mist or use as a template!! The usual The Make and Create shop handmade embellishments and journalling cards and a tag. I have also included some of my crocheted flowers to the kit too!
