Challenge List

The last challenge at Punky Scraps was to create a layout using a list of things including red, turquoise, staples, stitching 3 circles and photos of objects not people!

Here is the layout I created for it:
I did another page of my holiday album and these photos of flags seemed to prefect for the challenge. I used some more of the Jet Set kit from the shop. I used the twine, journaling lined paper, pins, fabric yo-yo, button and thread.
You only have until the end of the month to enter any of this months challenge to be in with a chance to win one of my Jet Set kits!

**I'm going away for a few days so any orders placed while I'm away won't be processed until Sunday 31st**

August will be a special month for me and my shop as it will be the shops 1st year anniversary! Hopefully there will be a few special things happening in the month!
Thanks for stopping by!

Next Challenge

The next challenge is up on Punky Scraps, this challenge was to create a layout using a sketch.
This is the layout I made using some of the Jet Set embellishment kit.
I used from the kit; wide green ribbon, a word strip, a tag, green stitched ribbon, punched cardboard circle, buttons, green thread, and bakers twine.
I made my own embellishment using elements from the kit. I took the punched cardboard circle, a button, some thread and some of the bakers twine to wrap around the button.
I used one of the tags to put in the top corner with my title on it and I used some of the green stitched ribbon and a button and green thread. I also made crosses across the rings with green thread.
Don't forget if you join in any of this months challenges at Punky Scraps you could be in with a chance of winning the Jet Set kit!
Thanks for popping in!

Sponsoring

This month The Make and Create shop is sponsoring Punky Scraps Challenge blog.

If you join in with their challenges this month you could be in with a chance to winning the Jet Set kit.
Natalie kindly asked me to be special guest for Punky Scraps too so I created a layout for this weeks challenge. I made the layout using the Jet Set kit for a page in my holiday album.

The challenge was to use tissue paper so I got some green tissue paper glued my background piece of kraft and then stick the tissue paper down making creases in it. I then used green paint to sponge over the creases to highlight them.
I then built my layout up in top. I used lots from the kit like the post card, ribbon, twine, washi tape, word strip (cut into words) tickets, handmade embellishment, punched card square, thread and punched map buttons.
I hope you will go and check out the Punky Scraps blog and what the rest of the design team made for this challenge as they came up with some great ways of using tissue paper!
Thanks for stopping by!

July's Guest Designer

The winner of the July guest designer call was Lisa Wilkinson!
Here's what Lisa had to say about herself:
My name is Lisa Wilkinson. I live in Tamworth, NH, USA. I am married to the love of my life and have 5 amazing children from ages 3-12. I have been scrapbooking for about a dozen years and have been addicted ever since I started I am an everyday scrapper. I scrap everyday things everyday. I love to keep it simple, yet add my own unique touches and embellishing to make the pages truly my own. I love to scrapbook to create something lasting, something that will help me remember all the memories we have created as a family and all the beauty that is around me. I create to help inspire others, to use what they have, remember what they have been given, and write it all down before we all forget. When I am not scrapping you can find me home schooling, organizing, or enjoying all the nature outside my door.

I love Lisa's style and I can't wait to see what she does with the kit.

Thank you to everyone that applied, I loved looking at everyones work and it was a tough decision to make, there is some real talent out there!
