October's Guest Designer

Thank you for Rebekah for being September's guest designer, she did a great job with the 'Back to School' kit.
I'm lucky enough to have another great guest designer for October she is the lovely Tessa Buys!
Here's what Tessa had to say about herself: I am a happy mother to three energetic, wonderful boys and wife to an amazing, supportive husband. I love the arts and am a professional dancer, teacher, and choreographer. When I'm not dancing, I am scrapbooking and creating for my Etsy shop, Precocious Paper. I am blessed to design for several shops and challenge blogs and I am thrilled to be designing this month for The Make and Create Shop!

I'm really pleased to have Tessa aboard for October as I love her work and can't wait to see what she creates with the new kit!
Don't forget to come back tomorrow for launch of the new Ocotber kit!

Ready

Rebekah sent me another one of her lovely creations with the 'Back to School' kit!
Another great layout made with no patterned paper! It's all from the kit, Rebekah just added just paint and mist. I love how she used the tissue paper and crepe paper from the kit on her layout.

In other news, I think I have managed to sort the buttons in the shop now, they are now where they should be!! It took some working out but they should be ok now, let me know if you have any problems with them. I'll leave the other buttons in the side bar for the time being, just in case!

Kit layouts

One of the lovely ladies, Sue, who have bought some of my kits from the shop, kindly shared this layout with me.
She used lots of the 'Back to School' kit on this one. I love the giant puzzle pieces and the way she has added buttons to the middle of the felt stars, they look great!

While I was having a look at Sue blog, I spyed this other layout she made with the 'All Aboard' kit.
I love how Sue used some of the kit on something other than what it was meant for. It shows how versatile the kits can be. My handmade felt flowers and the stripy ribbon from the kit go brilliantly with the outfit the little girl is wearing. What a great layout!
Thanks so much for sharing these with me Sue, it is so great to see how different people use my kits. If any of you have created something wonderful with my kits please let me know, I would love to see it! makeandcreate@ hotmail.com

Teach

I have a card I have a made from the Back to School' kit to show you today, I thought the kit would be perfect for a card for my friend who has just started teacher's training.
I used the felt pencils, a journaling card, ric rac, ribbon and thread, I handstitched a border with the red thread along the top of the card.
