Septembers Guest Designer

Tomorrow is September which means Beki's term as August guest designer comes to an end, thanks Beki for the lovely work you created with the Summer Splash kit, hope you enjoyed using it!

It now gives me great pleasure to introduce Septembers guest designer who is Rebekah Montague.

This is what Rebekah had to say about herself.  I'm a Mum of one, part time teacher and avid scrapper. I've been scrapping prolifically since Connor was born in 2006 and have loved the boom in scrapping stash over the last four years. I love layering up my layouts with blooms, stickers, ribbons and rub ons and am becoming more and more confident with paint and mists too.

I can't wait to see what she creates with the new kit!

Sneaky!

Well the school holidays are nearly over the weathers getting colder which must mean that it's nearly September! There is only a couple of days left until a new kit comes out, so I have a couple of sneak peaks to tempt you with!

I hope you like the look for it!! I have another great guest designer lined up to play with this kit, I will let you know who it is tomorrow!

I'm away on my holidays

Just to let you know I am going on holiday for a week so any orders placed from today 19th August won't be processed until after I get back on the 26th August.

I have been working hard on getting Septembers kit together so I will be back in a week with some sneak peeks!! Make sure you check it out!

I've been busy fulfilling orders this week. My first customer was Sarah and as soon as she received her kits, she got stuck in and sent me this lovely layout she made with the Summer Splash kit. She used ribbon, flowers, thread, sequins, a button and a chipboard frame from the kit and what a lovely layout she made! I love that ruffled ribbon and the stitched sun.

She has a new blog so go check it out as there's some lovely layout on there. Thanks for sending me this Sarah, it's very exciting to see my kits being used by other people!

Teething problems!

Thank you very much for all of your comments and for following this blog, it's great to have you here and you are very kind with your well wishes they mean a lot!

I have a few technical problem with the shop buttons so if you tried to order a kit and couldn't, sorry about that! I have come up with a temporary solution of putting the buttons in the side bar on the right hand side for now as I know they work there, until I can work out how to get them working in the right place!

I had a lovely surprise in the post the other day, my guest designer Beki sent me this lovely card that she made with my handmade felt embellishments that come in the Summer Splash kit, isn't it lovely!

The other thing was I didn't give you the closing date for my giveaway!! The Make and Create shop

Hello and welcome to my very own little shop! I now officially declare it open!!

If you love embellishments as much as me you have come to the right place, as my shop is full of embellishments! I was disappointed with the selection of good embellishment kits on the market and sometimes you really don't want to buy big packs of one type of embellishment so I decided to make my own!

In the kits there are a good selection of different embellishments at a reasonable price and you even get a few of my handmade embellishment in them too! Each kit will be different so you ever know quite what you will get! I will be bringing out a new kit with a different theme on the 1st of each month but I do already have 3 of my embellishment kits for sale in the shop now, just click on the 'shop' tab that's just below the title and you can see them in more detail.

As it's my shops opening I have a giveaway for you, you could win one of my kits! All you have to do is follow my shops blog and tell your friends about my shop by putting a link to my shop on your blog and you will when be entered into the prize draw! If you buy anything from my shop you will be in with a double chance of winning! The winner will be able to have a kit of their choice from the shop or if there isn't anything there to take you fancy, a different kit of a theme of your choice!!
